BABY SHOWER FOR LIFE CENTERS OF INDIANAPOLIS

As a church body, we celebrate God’s precious gift of life in two ways: by hosting a shower for needed baby/maternity items and a Bottles for Babies campaign for Life Centers of Indianapolis. This typically takes place annually in January on Sanctity of Human Life Sunday.

Items we donate to the Life Centers through the baby shower are made available to clients who have chosen life for their babies. The funds from the Bottles for Babies campaign help offset the expenses of the services the Life Centers offer free of charge to expecting mothers who are making life-changing decisions.

BACKYARD BIBLE CLUBS

Backyard Bible Clubs bring a free and exciting Vacation Bible School experience to different neighborhoods and are hosted by families of Burge Terrace Baptist Church. This allows families to choose a club that is most convenient for them based on location and time. Kids ages 4-12 can enjoy Bible lessons, fun activities, snacks, and games.

COMMUNITY DAY

Each summer Burge Terrace hosts a Community Day for the purpose of showing love and care for our community. It is a delight to interact with our neighbors while enjoying lots of free food, horseback rides, inflatables and much, much more! Everyone is invited, and everything is free!

FOOD SHOWER FOR GOOD NEWS MINISTRIES

During the winter months we host a food shower for Good News Ministries. Food donations help this organization provide daily meals for the homeless of Indianapolis while meeting their spiritual needs.
